Apple executives put an end to the suspense at the company's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on Monday when it showed off the new iPhone, alongside speedier Macbook Pros, an updated Mac OS X and other product updates.

Phil Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of worldwide product marketing, started off the event with a keynote speech in which he welcomed the audience of 5,200 developers from 52 countries.
