Sony has launched two additions to its popular Vaio range of notebooks.

The SZ5 takes an HSDPA card, giving users wireless connectivity of up to 3.6Mbps. Sony has an agreement with T-Mobile for cellular connectivity. The SZ5 is based on Intel's Core 2 Duo chipset and comes fitted with a fingerprint reader for authentication. The model, which contains a hard disk of up to 200GB, is aimed at high-end business users, with a retail price of £1,899.
