The C5 will help nurses at the University of California San Francisco Medical Center correctly record a patient's vital signs and other extremely important medical information, Chief Medical Information Officer Michael Blum said during the event. Transcription errors kill patients, and are an inevitable consequence of fatiqued nurses and technology that requires too many steps to enter this important data, he said.
