Hop-On Communications said on Monday that its disposable mobile phones will soon be for sale in Spain and the United Kingdom. The company said it has sold one million of its talk-and-throw-away phones to an unnamed European distributor.

Hop-On makes mobile phones that can be recycled or thrown in the rubbish once airtime minutes are used up. The phones are stripped-down versions of the everyday mobile phone, and some can't receive incoming calls.
