Yesterday, reports suggested that Ellen Hancock, formerly chief technology officer at Apple and once touted as a possible IBM CEO, is leaving. Marco Landi, executive vice president for worldwide sales and support at Apple announced plans to leave on Tuesday. Landi had previously been chief operating officer. His departure followed that of Heidi Roizen who had responsibility for the developer community and announced plans to leave earlier this month.

The departures coincide with a return to favour for Apple prodigals Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak.
