Two planes crashed into the two World Trade Center towers in New York around 8:30 a.m. EST today, igniting fires and speculation of a terrorist attack. Reports say that the two planes came from a Boston airport. Both towers of the building, located in the financial district close to Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange, are on fire and six people are reported dead.

Unconfirmed reports indicated the New York Stock Exchange has closed for the day. In addition, New York area airports and bridges and tunnels into the city from New Jersey are closed. Subways and other forms of transportation also closed.
