News Roundup: 2001 is the year of GPRS

During the week of CeBIT, Ericsson, Motorola, Siemens and Nokia all launched mobile phones that will use the always-on, high speed GPRS networks. In the UK, businesses can already sign up to GPRS networks, while consumer services are promised for the summer.
