AMD lands German PC maker

Advanced Micro Devices, Monday, announced a that European PC maker MAXDATA will use AMD Athlon and Duron processors in new PCs. MAXDATA, of Munich, Germany, plans to carry offer the chips in PCs aimed at German corporations, small businesses and consumers. MAXDATA plans the first PC shipments for January.
