Four hundred jobs lost at Sony UK

Four hundred jobs are to be axed at Sony's oldest UK plant in Bridgend. The move is part of Sony's "radical reorganisation" for the UK. According to the company the reorganisation will be complete by January.

Sony's UK company director Tony Abbott said the job cuts were part of Sony's drive aimed at repositioning the company for the digital age.
