News Burst: Visor Prism in glorious colour

The handheld Visor PDA is going colour and if the boasts of company executives at Handspring are to be believed, it could give other colour PDAs serious trouble.

The company makes no secret of its tardy entry with the colour model, but argues that the 16-bit Visor Prism, $449 (around £300) has a better display than any other on the market. At first glance, they could be right: the Prism can display up to 65,000 colours, significantly more than nearest rivals.
