Nuggets: Zoom in with Olympus

Hovering around the top end of is digital camera line, the Camedia C-920ZOOM is Olympus' upgrade for the C-900ZOOM.
Coming in what some might see as a rather tasteless champagne gold casing, its got an enlarged 4.5cm TFT (that's thin film transistor) LCD with a wider viewing angle. The screen displays the date, time, image number, write protection, picture quality, deletion option and battery level.
When viewing your photographic masterpieces you have the choice of viewing them as an automatic sequence of slides, or by choosing an index group of four or 16.
It boasts an optical 3x zoom lens, which photography fanatics will be pleased to hear is made from eight elements in six groups with two aspherical lenses. Of course there is also a 2x digital zoom with autofocus. Resolution-wise the camera offers 1.31m pixels.
Other features include flash, optical real image viewfinder, 12 second delay timer, and a Super High Quality mode that lets you take up to four shots with only a 1.2 second time gap in between each shot.
The bundled software is Olympus' Camedia suit and you get a tiny 4MB SmartMedia card thrown in.
