Languages for techies!
Eurotalk has released four new languages in its World Talk series of CD-Roms. These are the techies' equivalent to those 'learn a new language' tapes you see advertised on the tube.
The new languages are Russian, Dutch, Turkish and last but by no means least, American -- a very difficult language to learn I understand. The series promises to bring your language skills up to 'intermediate level' only. Features include a recording studio to record and listen to your voice to keep track of accent and pronunciation, and a variety of games to (try) and make learning more enjoyable.
Saving the hardest for last, Japanese and Arabic are due to be released soon. I can hardly wait...
