News Burst: IBM and Dell in 'major' joint venture

A "major announcement" by Dell and IBM is scheduled later today and although no details are available yet, the firms are expected to reveal a multi-billion dollar joint venture that could see Dell selling products direct for Big Blue.

A Dell spokeswoman confirmed the announcement would be made at 9am in New York.
