A children's programme of the `Blue Peter' variety this week demonstrated how to make a pink fluffy-mouse Mouse cover; Asprey & Garrard of New Bond Street, London, has one it prepared earlier. A snip, or is that a double click, at £895.00 the Mouse is a must-have for the more discerning computer buff.

Designed by R & B Ramsden, the Mouse is conventional in shape only: The case is made of sterling silver with a silver gilt `doohickey' -- a third button situated where you would normally find the IntelliSense wheel. Containing a Microsoft mechanism the mouse weighs, and does, no more than your average vanilla model.

A spokesperson for Asprey & Garrard said that it was `selling well'. I for one am putting it on my wish list, right next to Asprey & Garrads sterling silver Kit-Kat holder for £295.00.
