The up-to-20 per cent cuts apply to the 5100, 6000 and 8000 workstations making the entry-level price £2,275 + VAT for a 233MHz Pentium II-based 5100 Professional Workstation which was formerly pegged at £2,745.

Pricing starts at £3,195 for the new Professional Workstation 5100 with Millennium II graphics, 64 MB of RAM and a 4Gb hard disk.
