Compaq UK will stick with Mike Hender as the boss of Tandem in this country, the firm said today. Hender, formerly managing director of Tandem UK will hold the title of Tandem Business Unit director and will report to Joe McNally, founder, vice president and managing director of Compaq UK.

Former Tandem sales manager Paul Tollan becomes director of corporate accounts and will work alongside Vesey Crichton who remains director of Compaq's enterprise business unit.

Compaq expects the completion of the Tandem integration by January 1, 1998. The firms announced plans for a $3b merger in June this year.
