Novonyx strikes distribution deals

Novell and Netscape hybrid Novonyx struck deals with four distributors today and outlined a plan for accrediting distributors and dealers to sell its Netscape Suitespot Servers for NetWare.

Ingram Micro and Tech Data have been appointed to handle the worldwide distribution while Microage and Merisel have US distribution contracts. More European-specific distributors are expected to be appointed soon.

There are also four channel partner programs; Novonyx NET Expert, a three-tiered program for value-added resellers; Novonyx Authorised CyberPartner program; Novonyx Authorised Corporate Reseller program and Novonyx Authorised Distributor program.
