Apple exits good news for Dell

The number one direct seller of PCs last week appointed Adrian Weekes as managing director of Dell Corporate in the UK. Prior to Dell, Weekes was UK managing director at Cisco and, before that, sales director at Apple UK.

He will be among familiar faces: Dell VP for UK and Ireland Mike Newton was previously Apple UK managing director and Jan Gesmar-Larsen, president of Europe, Middle-East and Africa, previously held the same post at Apple.
