Euro notebook buyers shifting to Win 95

"There has been an amazing shift over the last two quarters," said Ben Bentzin, Dell portables group director marketing. "In Europe, people stayed with Win 3.x for much longer than in the US. Now, four out of five notebooks we're shipping in Europe are Windows 95. In the US it's 90 per cent. There has been a lag but the situation is changing."
