The server can accommodate up to four 200MHz processors each with 512Kb cache, and up to 2Gb of RAM. Inside six months, Dell plans to be able to offer 1Mb caches and 4Gb of RAM capacity. Ultra-Wide SCSI hard drives are standard.
A single-CPU configuration with 64Mb RAM, 4Gb hard drive, eight-speed CD-ROM drive and 15-inch monitor costs from £6,499 + VAT.
