Adaptec to hook UltraSCSI to notebooks

The kit will contain a PC Card that connects CardBus-capable mobile PCs to 20Mb/sec UltraSCSI peripherals. The PC Card interface is currently constrained by a 2Mb/sec limit. Adaptec also claims that the adapter will lower CPU utilisation.
The device will be priced in the region of £135.
