The OneScanner (£555 + VAT) supports 30-bit colour depth and recognises over one billion colours. It has a 600 x 1200 optical resolution and 4800 x 4800 interpolated resolution for scanning smaller areas. The device also supports transparency scanning with an optional transparent media adapter available for £345 + VAT. An optional document feeder costs £275 + VAT. The OneScanner 2.0 control software allows scanned text to be converted to HTML and embedded into a Web authoring application via drag and drop.

Bundled software includes ColorSync 2.1 colour matching software, Xerox's TextBridge 3.0 OCR package and Kai's Power Tools 3.0 SE.

Apple can be contacted by telephone on 0800-127753.
