Toshiba ships 2Gb notebook, chops prices

Toshiba has released one of the first notebooks in the industry to pack 2Gb in internal storage and has cut prices across its line. The new product with the huge 2.5-inch hard disk is the top-end Tecra 720CDT, list priced at £4,995 + VAT. The cuts range between six and 25 per cent with the biggest change applying to the T2130CT, down from £1,595 to £1,195. The Tecra 500CS, featuring Zoomed Video (ZV) Port, is now available for £2,695, reduced from £3,395. Toshiba can be contacted by telephone on 01932-841600.
