Photos: Humanoid robots come to life at MIT

Rodney Brooks, the director of the MIT CSAIL and the Panasonic professor of Robotic, answers some emails from his MIT office in the Stata Center. In addition to his role at MIT, Brooks is the co-founder and chief technology officer of iRobot and invented the proprietary technology that goes into the Roomba vacuuming robot and Scooba floor-scrubbing robot.
