Sega boss outlines "super wideband" Dreamcast network

Sega boss, Shoichiro Irimajiri, gave an upbeat presentation in Cannes yesterday -- telling the Milia games convention that, although he was acutely aware that game companies have only "one life", Sega has a good lead in next-gen consoles and is pressing ahead hard with its broadband master plan.

More so, Irimajiri said that, when complete, this "super wideband" network will afford delivery speeds so fast and latency so low that gamers can play action-intensive games like Soul Calibur and Sega GT with "no lag time.".
