Nuggets: DVD combo drive from Memorex

If you're PC is still sporting an unimpressive CD-ROM drive you're probably looking around frantically to upgrade to something better. Maybe you're after something that'll let you record your own CDs and play DVD movies.
Buying a separate CD writer and DVD--ROM drive can get a little pricy. So, just in time to get it down on your Christmas lists, Memorex has introduced a combo drive that gives you everything you need in one little box.
The TriMaxx200 is an E--IDE (ATAPI) internal drive combining a CD--RW, CD--ROM and DVD--ROM drive. It gives you CD writing speeds of 6x, reads CDs at 24x and rewriting speeds of 4x. The DVD--ROM drive reads at 4x.
In the shops now for £279 but be quick we reckon these'll be favourites for Christmas.
