News Burst: Real relaunches as entertainment portal

Content will be available directly through RealPlayer 7, the latest version of the company's Internet audio and video player. Real has signed partnerships with over 100 media companies, including the BBC and Listen.com, to provide entertainment and news content. The site will offer over 2000 radio and television stations, 8000 content sites and 500 daily live events.

While full medical records may be of (dubious) value at rear/base medical facilities, these could be provided much simpler by either physical disk or electronic transfer to an "in theatre" database for individuals posted in. That £80m (and it's associated running costs) could have been far better employed in resuscitating a disbanded infantry battalion or providing a big boost in equipment quality and quantity.
