3 has boosted the data allowances on its mobile-broadband tariffs for small businesses.

The mobile operator, which has recently started up its 3 Business division, announced the refreshed deals on Monday. 3 is also offering new or existing business customers that have a 18- to 24-month mobile-broadband contract the chance to get a second plan at half price.

The head of 3 Business, Renato Bottini, said in a statement on Monday that the new plans showed the operator "providing a service at a price which makes mobile working a reality for small businesses".

The new bundles are called Broadband 5GB and Broadband 15GB, and represent increases on the previous data limits of 3GB and 7GB respectively. Broadband 5GB costs £15 per month and Broadband 15GB costs £30 per month, both tariffs including VAT.
