The E66 is heavier than the E65, at 121g rather than 115g. The battery is slightly more capacious, at 100mAh rather than 950mAh, giving it a slightly longer life.
The E66 contains an accelerometer, or motion sensor, so the picture changes orientation when the phone is turned over, and ringing can be turned off by flipping the phone over.
In terms of dimensions, the E66 is slightly longer than the E65 (107mm vs 105mm), the same width (49mm) and significantly thinner (13mm vs 15.5mm). The device's internal memory has been increased from 50MB to 110MB, although as usual much of that memory is taken up by preinstalled applications.
According to Soren Petersen, Nokia's senior vice president of mobile devices, around 10 million E-Series handsets have been sold so far, with the E65 accounting for half of them.
