Vodafone UK has launched a new version of its 3G Mobile Connect data card that will allow people to use GPRS data networks in the US.
The new card offers connectivity over GPRS in 54 countries and 3G in 11. WLAN2 can also be used, as BT has signed an agreement with Vodafone to allow its customers access to 1300 Openzone hotspots in the UK.
Vodafone says that it has so far achieved 60 percent coverage by population for 3G services in the UK.
