Search engine Ask Jeeves has been added to the Russell 2000 index.

The index, a leading composite of small-cap stocks produced by Frank Russell Company, is watched by investment managers as a benchmark. Membership in the index is decided by market capitalisation rankings and style attributes, rather than by subjective opinion or committee decisions. Ask Jeeves is also included in the Russell 3000 index.

The stock closed Monday down 7/16 at 15 1/16. All nine of the analysts who follow the stock rate it as either a "moderate buy" or "strong buy".
