AltaVista launches rewards program

Portal site AltaVista, a CMGI -owned company, has launched a rewards program where consumers can earn points by researching and comparing products, browsing, and buying.

Rewards points can be redeemed for products, gift certificates at participating stores, or frequent flyer miles.
