Networks '98: NCD claim first for Windows-based terminal

Network Computing Devices, the thin client company, is claiming a UK first at Network-telecom '98 at the NEC this week with its 'ThinSTAR' product which it claims is the first "NCD Windows-based terminal... running Microsoft's new thin client multi-user operating system, Windows Terminal Server". NCD's Mark Templeton said Businesses continue to seek innovative thin-client/server solutions that enable universal access to business-critical applications while lowering total cost of ownership". NCD is one of many exhibitors talking up the appeal of Windows terminals at the show.
