Novell calls for 'human interface' on networks

Novell Chairman and CEO, Eric Schmidt, wants to bring a "human interface" to computer networks. In last night's keynote address at Novell's annual 'BrainShare' user conference, Schmidt stressed the importance of tying services, applications and data to a networked user, no matter where that user logs on, rather than tying services, data and user to a particular piece of hardware on the network. How Novell intends to bring a human face to networking is not altogether clear.
