Winners: VMWare competition

The ZDNet UK VMWare competition is now closed, and we have selected five lucky winners who will each receive a copy of the virtual machine software.

And the winners are: David Carmichael, John Crowder, Faris Raouf, Thomas Zunder and Robert Irving. Congratulations -- your prizes will be on their way to you shortly.

We asked you to complete the following sentence: 'I really, really need a copy of VMWare Workstation because...'. The winning entries included: 'My WINE glass is half-empty'; and ' I love Linux but am married to Windows...'.

Remember there's still time to enter for many of the other prizes in our Christmas giveaway, which include five NEC DVD re-writers, Adobe Creative Suite Professional, five Vodafone 3G data cards, three AMD Athlon 64 3500+ processors, and four PalmOne Treo smartphones.

These competitions are closing at the rate of one each working day, so if you haven't done so already, make sure you enter now.
